Too big to title

I already suffer from this disease where I cannot find BIG enough words to describe things or feelings, hints why I have no title. The Lord is too big.

Sunday, my friend Lisa (mentioned in last post) invited me to the church that she has been going to. She brought a friend that she is living with until she leaves next week. Lisa had mentioned that I was going to love her but I had no idea just how much. A stands for Annie but it also stands for Answer to my prayer. Annie is here for a year. Yes, you read that correctly. So am I. We all know that this was my prayer during my first few weeks here until I realized that I forgetting about the best friendship there is, one with Jesus. And let me just tell you, He satisfies. So I somewhat had given that prayer up understanding that He would provide friendships when He saw fit. Well, Sunday was clearly when He saw it fit. He answered a prayer that I had asked but pretty much forgotten about. I found a great church and met a great friend. Oh and there was a group from Atlanta visiting the church, nothin' sweeter than a reminder of home. He is too big to title.

Yesterday (Monday), I went in praying for hope. Praying that He would provide even a small piece of hope that the hospital had some good things going on despite the nurse issues that I see daily.

He provides, friends. We have a school inside our hospital that allows the patients that are well enough to attend a couple times a week. This man gave me hope. Hope that there are some incredible things going on at Hermano Pedro. I knew that was the case, but I just had not seen much in my ward. Do y'all see what is going on in this picture? This man is using slight head movements to color a picture. And can y'all see how well he is coloring in the lines? Number 1, I wouldn't have the patience for this. Number 2, I can't even color in the lines with my hands. All he needed was help changing his color markers. There is always, always, always something to be grateful for. He gives hope to the hopeless. He gives help to the helpless. He is too big to title.

As for today, He comes through once again. I got an email last week from some Georgia Baptist missionaries that heard I was here through a missionary that just so happened to be preaching at my home church on my last Sunday in the States. We had coffee and lunch today. They are such a precious, busy couple so I only got to meet the wife, Mrs. Glynis. She is a doll. A southern bell. Loves the Lord. Just what I need. I honestly felt like I was having a good life chat with my sweet grandmothers back home, Gigi and E. He is too big to title.

Romans 15:13 [May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.]

Don't put him in a box today, friends. He is simply too big.

Joy today because He is SO big,
SA

P.S. Speaking of BIG, got some exciting news to share later this week. Keep praying. Hope you are ready!
